Trailside Café – Exciting Updates for Summer 2025!

Get ready for another delicious summer at Trailside Café in Willow, AK! We’re bringing back all your favorites, plus some exciting new changes. Our new upgraded game area—featuring cornhole, ladderball, and horseshoes—offers the perfect way to relax and have fun while waiting for your meal. We’re also adding new menu items, including our berry crisp à la mode and our cookies and cream brownie! Also, the local-favorite roast beef focaccia sandwich will be back on the menu ALL SUMMER LONG!

Our sled dogs will be back to greet and entertain guests while they wait for their meal, making your visit even more special. Plus, we’re excited to serve espresso and coffee once again from our friends at Dead Hopper Roastery, located just up the road in Talkeetna.

Breakfast is back daily from 8 AM to Noon, along with fresh pastries every morning. Join us 8 AM – 8 PM daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with limited spring and fall hours in May and September.

As always order online using our downloadable app for rewards or call ahead to avoid the wait! We can’t wait to welcome you for another season of great food, good company, and summer fun!

Our gourmet boxed lunches include your choice of a cold sandwich or salad, plus a drink, chips, a pickle, and a small dessert for a complete and satisfying meal. Since all our sandwiches are served cold, they’re great to enjoy right away or save for later. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or dining in, we have seating for up to 50 guests at the café. Boxed lunches are ordered in advance so we can have them ready and waiting for you!
