Finch is a lovable 5-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for people and children. He’s best friends with his brother, Rafa Nadal, and comes from a lively litter of ten. Finch and his sister Ultraviolet share special names inspired by characters from the book All the Bright Places, giving their bond a literary twist. Every winter, Finch heads to Bad Manners Kennel, where he trains alongside his siblings. One of his favorite jobs? Bringing his mom to work by dog team—he takes the role seriously and with great pride. Finch is more than just a dog; he’s a joyful, loyal soul with a love for life that’s contagious.

- Finch has floppy ears and when he’s running in the team, they flop up and down like he’s trying to take flight.
- Tag was born on August 18, 2020 from his mother Christina. She is the dog on the HUTH logo. Finch was the last of 10 dogs born in the litter. The dogs came out black girl, white boy, black girl, white boy, until finch broke the pattern as the very end.
- Finch doesn’t like trotting like most long distance sled dogs. He will almost always lope when running in the team.
- Some would say Finch could be considered one of our naughtier dogs… He likes chewing his neckline during hookup (and has yet to be deterred from this nasty habit). Finch also is a bit of a selective listener when free running. He is much more interested in following his siblings than listening to his person.
- Finch is a total sweetheart and loves playing and racing with his buddies when free running. He’s probably one of the sweetest boys in the kennel and is notorious for stealing kisses from guests who are petting him.
